MEET THE TEAM
AMBER GADDY
Licensed Texas Midwife & Certified Professional Midwife
For over a decade I have cared for birthing families in the San Antonio area- beginning my career in 2013 as a doula and childbirth educator and since 2021, a midwife. As a midwife, I am passionate about providing evidence-based care and empowered decision making to expectant mothers and their families. I strive to uphold the traditions of holistic, hands-on care while striking a balance between time-honored wisdom and modern medical advancements to support women safely through the childbearing year.

I have had the privilege of attending more than 300 births as a midwife in a multitude of settings- hospital, home, and birth center. My goal is to provide each family with individualized care that speaks to the needs of their unique family and pregnancy.

Outside of midwifery my focus is my own darling family- my daughter, son, and husband are the lights of my life. I am an avid reader, love to garden, and I can never say no to a good craft project.
MARIAH COFFEY
Student Midwife and Doula

Mariah Coffey’s path to midwifery began when she became a doula at the age of 17 while studying international relations. After witnessing the amazing work done by midwives, she soon realized that her true passion lay in helping women to have beautiful, educated, and empowering birth experiences. She has had the honor of supporting over 50 births, including cesareans, inductions, and unmedicated labors.
Mariah is honored to be a student midwife with Lunar Midwifery and to learn alongside Amber. Outside of birth work, she enjoys embroidery, baking, going to concerts, and spending time with her fiancé and family.
